The Year 8 girls played their final event of the season together on Wednesday evening at Timperley Hockey Club. They displayed some superb attacking skills, with Isla sprinting down the left wing and Emma driving up the right hand side. Captain Orla took charge of the midfield and Grace and Martha stole the ball numerous times from the opposing attackers. GK Ava barely had to touch the ball, while Taya, Nia and Erin sprayed the ball towards the opponents goal. We frustratingly finished 3^rd in our pool but played so well.

Well done to all those who took part and a special mention to Orla who received girl of the tournament from the opposition and to Isla who received it from us.
