This was the followed by their descent en masse to Manchester Central, where the UCAS Discover Day for schools & 6th forms in the Greater Manchester area was held. Here, students were able to speak to those universities and employers they had identified in the morning session. Several conversations suggested that it had been a valuable experience, and in some instances generated awareness of potential courses and careers that they had not even heard of! 

 

There were also range of talks aimed at helping students make informed choices, and it was great to see half of the benches at the talk on personal statements filled with our students. Many also made the most of the free merch!
