Year 11 Geography Trip
Last week, the Year 11 geographers visited New Islington, Manchester, to complete their Human Geography Fieldwork Investigation. The aim of the investigation is to consider whether regeneration has improved the environment and economy of East Manchester. Led by Mr Holt, the students started their investigation at Holt Town, and then made their way through New Islington, ending at Piccadilly basin. Along the way, they stopped at three sites and completed environmental quality surveys, took photographs and described the area around them. The weather was fantastic and the students enjoyed exploring somewhere new. I was so impressed by their attitude and commitment to the task. Thank you for two great days Year 11!
