Year 10 – GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
Year 10 GCSE pupils have made an excellent start to this option course. I have been extremely impressed with the enthusiasm the group have shown and even more impressed by the knowledge and understanding of key processes that the pupils have already demonstrated.
This week we made Focaccia bread and French Onion soup to demonstrate the food science we have been studying, the processes of dextrinisation and caramelisation. All pupils worked independently, following the instructions on screen, which was pleasing to see.
Keep up the good work Year 10.
