Wellington World Day of Languages!

Today, we have been celebrating all the wonderful languages represented at Wellington School! During tutor time, pupils have heard from various members of staff who love languages, and reflected on the benefits of speaking another tongue.

The Adshead Hall was the venue for our annual pupil-led language-learning experience, where Year 7 and 8 students are treated to taster-sessions from a variety of different languages. We had so many different languages represented today by our talented students, who prepared and delivered engaging lessons to their peers. The ‘teachers’ have worked very hard and impressed both staff and fellow students with their skills.
