UKMT Team Challenge

On Friday 21^st, four of our highest achieving 2024 Junior UKMT (United Kingdom Mathematics Trust) competition winners took part in the regional Team Challenge final at Alderley Edge Girls School.   The challenge required solving hours of maths problems under timed conditions and consisted of 4 rounds: Group round, Cross number round, Shuttle round and Relay.   After an exhausting day, it was disappointing not to qualify for the follow-on round but our students should be rightly proud of the incredible level of resilience and perseverance with which they approached all parts of the Challenge.  Well done, team Wellington.
