Trafford Athletics Competition

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of taking 60 girls to Longford park to compete in the annual Trafford School Athletics Competition. It was a lovely afternoon; the sun was shining and all girls who took part were outstanding. They represent Wellington in an excellent manner. A number of pupils came first in their race, Cerys Smith in the 200m, Jess Wilkins in the discus, Molly Barton in the shot put, Amelie Greaves in the 300m, and more! Overall results are due to be sent out next week. Well done to all girls who took part!
