The Fed Guardianship Project
The Wellington History Department are very lucky to work closely with the Jewish Fed and, as a result of this, 8 Year 13 pupils were selected to become Guardians of the stories of two remarkable Holocaust survivors; Anne Super and Gisela Feldman. This means that our pupils have learned with and from these two amazing ladies, with the intention being to continue sharing their stories in the future. Anne and Gisela are both remarkable women with incredible stories of survival, which our young people can learn so much from. On Wednesday, Sarah and Jocelyn from the Fed came in to meet with pupils to discuss their final projects. They were wowed by what our pupils had produced! This year, we’ve had candle holders, podcasts and display boards. We will now share this work with our wider school community as part of our Holocaust Memorial Day event in January 2025. We are blessed and lucky to share these stories and opportunities, thank you to the Fed for organising.
