Stemette Day

On Wednesday 27^th November, 13 of our keenest Year 9’s attended a Stemette day at the Bank of America Financial Centre in Chester.    The event was focussed on working in teams to create a futuristic 3D theme park using TinkerCad and, to bring their creations to life, the students generated AI images using Gencraft.   After lunch, all the teams gave a short presentation showcasing their work infront of all the other attendees.  The final event of the day was a speed networking session where the students had an opportunity to speak with employees of Bank of America and ask questions about their roles and the opportunities available within the company. 

A very interesting and illuminating day, highlighting the breadth of STEAM jobs available in the world of work.
