Sixth Form Taster Days

On Thursday and Friday this week, we welcomed 100+ Year 11 students (a mix of Wellington’s ‘Class of 2022’ and some external applicants from a number of local schools) who are looking to join our Sixth Form in September. With a week since GCSE exams finished, they were refreshed, rested and raring to go! They were treated to academic taster sessions for the A Level subjects they’ve chosen, transition study tasks, fun bonding games, guidance on successful study skills and a Q&A panel with current Year 12 students. It was wonderful to see them looking very smart and eager and really engaging with all the activities on offer. Great so many external students could join us too. We hope they all enjoyed their visit and we wish them the very best of luck on Results Day.
