REP Trip to Liverpool

Year 10 and 11 GCSE REP students had a fantastic day in Liverpool on Tuesday. It was a jam-packed day of philosophical exploration; starting with the argument from design via the space exhibition in the World Museum followed by a gruesome viewing of the mummies, with students encouraged to think about competing theories of the afterlife. Next, we popped into the Walker gallery next door to view the stunning artwork and discuss the philosophy of aesthetics. In the afternoon, we visited both the Metropolitan and Anglican Cathedrals, noting the different architectural approaches to building a place of worship.
