This week the students learnt all about how the ‘Carnaval do Rio de Janeiro’ is celebrated. Did you know that the main celebrations take part in the ‘Sambadrome’, a 700m long purpose-built parade area, with capacity for 90,0000 spectators? The students were really enthusiastic, and we were amazed to hear that one of our students has even taken part in the carnival at the stadium!
