On Tuesday our Year 8 students took part in the first stage of their Leadership Programme with The Natural Leader. The programme is designed at upskilling our students in analysing the strengths and values needed to improve their leadership skills. It is the first time this programme has been delivered in secondary schools, so our students were excited to get going. The session on Tuesday was brilliant, it got our students analysing the values that are important to them and how to nurture those to lead. In the afternoon, the students went strength shopping for themselves and a friend. We discussed the importance, as a leader, to utilise strengths but also commend others on theirs. 

 

A great day for our Year 8 students and we cant wait for the next session in November.
