International Pi Day

Students celebrated International Pi Day on Tuesday 14^th March (3/14 when using the American date format). They took part in a teacher treasure hunt where over 50 members of staff were wearing digits of pi around school. In addition, our winner of the pi recital competition was Stephanos Farquharson who was able to say pi to a whopping 112 decimal places. Students also took up the opportunity to show off their culinary talents by bringing in home-made pies and even a loaf of bread in the shape of pi! Well done to all those who took part, we look forward to next year already.
