Interactive Sports Careers Presentation

It was lovely to welcome an ex-student into school on Tuesday morning. Matt Loizou left Wellington in 2016 and is now a professional football coach and tutor. Matt left Wellington after Year 11 to join Interactive Sports which is based around sports coaching and sports science. He must have impressed as he was immediately offered a job as tutor upon the completion of his course! Who better to speak to a group of Year 11 students about the post-16 opportunities his organisation offers school leavers?

We aim to give our students as deep an understanding as possible of their post-16 options and we have had many colleges and providers visit school throughout the year. I am sure that several students who attended the talk will follow Matt on a path into the sports industry.
