GCHQ National Language Competition
This week 16 Year 9 students have been competing in GCHQ’s National Language Competition. The students were set 64 online challenges to complete by 5pm today (Friday). These ranged in difficulty level and tested both their language skills and code breaking skills. The pupils have completed challenges in Afrikaans, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Swedish and many other languages. The winning team will be invited to GCHQ in Cheltenham to be presented with a trophy by Sir Jeremy Fleming. On Wednesday, the leader board was hidden, so we will have to wait until next week to hear the results.
Well done to all of the students who have participated.
