A week of debuts!
This week has seen many new faces playing hockey and making their debut for various teams. On Monday the U16 boys played Sandbach boys and due to illness Jude Conyers stepped in to support them. We faced a strong opposition but Jude opened the scoring to much delight! James Court played fantastically well in goal yet their drag flicks were well practiced. Joe Wiggan and Jude each scored another goal yet the final result was 3-5. Jude received man of the match from us.
The U16 girls faced Loreto on Wednesday and needed a few ringers so we included some year 9, 8 and even a year 7! Thank you to those who stepped in to play and especially to Evie Kilgariff (GK) who received player of the match from Loreto. Pippa scored a superb short corner and we showed some super transferring skills around the back. The final score was 1-1 and after much deliberation we eventually awarded player of the match to both Pippa and Amelie.
