A Busy Term in the LRC
It’s been a fantastic (and very busy!) term in the LRC, with so much going on—from interschool book awards to author visits and, of course, all the fun of World Book Day. But amidst all the excitement, some of our most dedicated readers have truly stood out.
A huge well done to Daniel (8LGE), Grace (9JAB), and Fergus (7RGN) for borrowing the most books in their year groups this term. A special shoutout to Fergus, who has set a record-breaking achievement—borrowing 80+ books in just one term! That’s some serious reading dedication!
Now that the Easter break is here, we are all looking forward to a well-earned rest… with plenty of reading, of course. If you’re looking for inspiration, check out the Spring Reading Bulletin, which I’ve shared on ClassCharts—you might just find your next favorite book.
One recommendation? The new Hunger Games prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping—perfect timing since Suzanne Collins is our Author of the Month.
Wishing everyone a wonderful holiday filled with good books and plenty of relaxation. Happy reading! 📖🐣🌸
