A Level Literature, ‘Hamlet’ Trip: Stratford-Upon-Avon

On Thursday – World Book Day too – we took the A Level Literature cohort to Stratford-Upon-Avon for the day. After a lovely walk and a bit of cafe culture, we headed for Shakespeare’s birthplace after taking in some of the other landmarks. In the afternoon, we embarked at the RSC to watch ‘Hamlet’ – an interesting take on the play set at sea and where we got to see the likes of the great Anton Lesser leaving by the stage door after. Overall, a lovely day with some wonderful students who will soon write about ‘Hamlet’ in their A Level exams.
