The Year 8/9 Rock Band visited Green Velvet Studios on Thursday to record their version of ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’. This was an exciting opportunity for the rock band to work with professional studio engineers to record the song that they had been working on for the carol service. The students in the rock band were able to experience recording as a ‘live lounge’ session and then they were able to add additional harmonies and percussion to the recording. The students were also able to experience the recording studio from the ‘control’ room and were able to see their song being mixed live by the studio engineers. Well done to the rock band for their hard work and dedication yesterday – we are looking forward to hearing the final result!
