Library of Legends

This half-term’s Library of Legends students are as follows:
Chloe Yuen, Micah Ng, Leo Blomley, Abby Moore, Lucy Johnson, Francesca Wright, Daisy Gellatly, Gabriella Hallmark, Summer Markham, Harry Shea, Leyla Shi.

Chloe Yuen: ‘Chloe always puts her absolute best effort into her homework. She is reading some mature and interesting reads which allows her to fully analyse and explore aspects of character and plot. I am so thrilled with progress she is making this year.’

Francesca Wright: ‘Francesca approaches every lesson with enthusiasm and a positive, enquiring mind. Her contributions and ideas are always thoughtful, valuable and often original. Her understanding of Macbeth is solid and her analysis shows real potential for the rest of her GCSE study. Well done, Francesca!’
Daisy Gellatly: ‘Daisy has worked consistently hard in English and her extended writing and analysis is showing great improvement. She is thoughtful about her answers and is willing to help her peers in lesson. Well done!’
Gabriella Hallmark: ‘Relentless, ambitious, and genuinely brilliant, Gabriella has achieved brilliantly this half-term, demonstrating outstanding potential in her mocks through her crafting, sophistication, and conceptual awareness. Well done, Gabriella!’
Summer Markham: ‘I have been so so impressed with Summer’s hard work and resilience this term. She has attended nearly every single lesson and always tries her best – asking for support when needed and completing all her work to a high standard. Keep up the hard work, Summer!!’
Harry Shea: ‘Harry has worked consistently hard in his English writing lessons and in the LRC. He has a positive work ethic and always produces careful and thoughtful work.’
Leyla Shi: ‘Leyla applies herself to all of her work with endeavour and enthusiasm. Her analysis is perceptive, thoughtful and eloquently expressed. Her own writing is carefully crafted and she has developed an engaging ‘voice’ in all of her extended pieces. Well done, Leyla!’
