Congratulations to all the hockey players from this week; it’s been a busy one!

 

The year 7 girls had their Trafford tournament on Wednesday. With great support from parents on the sideline, the girls played fantastically and won all their games! They scored a total of 13 goals and it was a debut for our goalie Eloise! A super start. Well done to all who played but a special mention to the joint girls of the tournament who were Lucy Winter and Eloise Barlow.

 

The U16 girls played in the Greater Manchester tournament on Wednesday and despite some outstanding displays of teamwork and work rate, it was not their day. Their efforts were faultless but the back of the net was elusive. They lost against the run of play to Withington and were by far the better team in the second half against Loreto. The player of the tournament was Rachel Miles, closely followed by Pippa Hornby.
