The Year 9 boys hockey team had a good start to the season at the first Trafford Tournament of the year, despite some poor weather.  The team included two Year 7 debutants Emil Cleworth and Max Wakefield, playing up 2 years, both giving an excellent account of themselves.  We also had Harry Kidd making his debut on goal, again doing a cracking job despite only being in the kit for the second time ever. 

We lost in a tight game to St Bedes 1-0 and beat Sale Grammar 2-0 thanks to two goals to man of the match Ben Langridge.
