I couldn’t not share this delightful work!

 

On what is one of my favourite days in the school calendar, the Year 7 completed these stunning mixed media pieces during Project in a Day.

 

Inspired by the artist Mister Finch, the students created these wonderful pieces.

 

The works are mixed media, comprising of a fabric hand stitched body. Paper and fabric wings and then embellishments with wire, buttons and ribbon.

 

I was super impressed with how focused and independent the students were and how individual the pieces turned out.

 

Well done Year 7, these were really impressive!
