U13 Girls Hockey

The U13 hockey girls took part in the Greater Manchester county tournament on Thursday.

With plenty of anticipation the tournament started well. They played Stockport Grammar, AGGS and Withington in their pool and won one, drew one and lost one. We came third due to goal difference, frustratingly but then faced Cheadle Hulme School. We beat them 2-1 with goals from Orla Mawby and Isla Dugdale-Reed.

A fabulous afternoon and some super saves from Evie Kalgariff. Grace Edge and Emma Baker and Emma Blackburn were stunning in defence! The overall player of the tournament was Orla and a final position of fifth in Greater Manchester.
