On Wednesday a small group of Key Stage 4 students were given the opportunity to spend the day in the Trafford Centre as a reward for the first term. Our numbers were limited due to transport, we could have taken lots more this term. We have been so impressed by how the Year 11’s have continued their momentum from last year and shown a real focus and desire to achieve success, not just academically but personally too. The mock 2 results as a cohort were also very pleasing.

Moreover, Year 10 have started their GCSE journey amazingly. There has been a real switch in mindset for some and you can see the effort they are going to in the classroom. Their first assessment period will be after the Christmas break and I am sure their success will be reflected in the dedication they have shown all year. 

Our key stage motto is “Attitude is Everything” and we have been impressed by how so many pupils are embedding this on a daily basis.
