A Level Congratulations!

Congratulations to our wonderful Year 13 students who have achieved fantastic results this year. Despite this being the first set of external examinations this cohort has taken, their resilience and hard work has paid off. The results at Wellington Sixth form continue on an upward trajectory and exceed those achieved in 2019 with almost a quarter of grades awarded at A*/A, 62% at grades A*-B and over 88% A*-C. 

There was also some superb individual results amongst the students across a range of subjects including Nancy who gained 3 A grades plus an A* in a EPQ and will be studying Bio-Medical Science at Kings College London, Abi who achieved an A* and 2 A grades and has gained a place at Durham University to study Law, Tala who also intends on studying Law at Newcastle after gaining 2 A*s and a B, Megan who was awarded an A* and 2 A grades and is  going to study Psychology at Newcastle and Thomas who achieved 3 A grades and will be studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manchester.
