Hedgehog Rescue!

We rescued an injured young hedgehog on site on Monday – thank you to Jenny for spotting him. He is now the capable hands of the Withington Hedgehog hospital. He had a very badly infected back leg (which you can see in the photo is very swollen) caused by an unknown injury.

He will likely need to have the leg amputated but he’ll need fattening up first – fortunately he has a ferocious appetite. The hospital always appreciates any donations of cat or dog food.
