Eco-Committee
This week eco-committee visited Chris Walker plants. Throughout the year eco-committee have fundraised and they decided to use the money to purchase 3 planters, compost and a variety of insect friendly plants. They visited the plant nursery and chose the plants themselves, and then planted them when they got back to school. They decided to place the planters next to the Hive so they could be seen by students on the maths corridor and used for an “outdoor world” curriculum by the students in the Hive. In September when we return to school eco-committee plan to use remaining funds to buy some spring bulbs to ensure there is year-round colour!
Also, a reminder from the eco-committee to bring any donations for the second-hand stall at Welly Fest to Room 37 before Wednesday next week, thank you!
