Sale Harriers Athletics Competition

On Wednesday, Miss Kelly and I had the pleasure of taking the Year 7 and Year 8/9 combined athletics team to Sportcity to compete in the annual Sale Harriers invitation only outdoor competition! We had a fantastic day! This was the first time we had taken 4 teams as opposed to last year where only the Year 8/9 girls were invited. It was a very successful day to say the least, most athletes came away with medals! (see below). The effort, enthusiasm and team spirit that they all had was so lovely to see. Super proud of you all! Overall results out of 10 schools from Greater Manchester; Year 7 Girls 6th, Year 7 Boys 4th, Year 9 Boys 2nd and Year 8/9 girls CHAMPIONS for the second year running!!  Well done to everyone who competed!
