Year 7 Cricket

On Wednesday the Year 7 Cricketers hosted AOM on our Astro. At Year 7 the format is different to normal hard ball cricket as we aim to encourage as many pupils to play as possible. As such, it is a paired Cricket match where every player bats, bowls and wicket keeps. Every team starts on 100 points and scores are added for every run but also taken away (-10) for every time you are out. Wellington won the game 144-1. They were amazing! Every player played their part and the atmosphere within the group was infectious. We have another fixture next week against Urmston.
