Year 8/9 Girls Football

TRAFFORD CHAMPIONS!! A massive well done to the Year 8/9 girls football team who beat Sale Grammar 5-4 in a nail biting game last night. The girls came back from 2-1 down at half time, to take the win 5-4! The night saw goals from Leah Johnson x 3, Cerys Smith x 1 and Esme Wilcock x 1. The girls as a whole played some excellent football, the best I have seen all season. Player of the match – Leah Johnson! The win meant that the girls have finished on 21 points which secures their title of the Trafford League! Well deserved. I’m so proud of you all! Well done on a FANTASTIC football season!
