English – A Day of Storytelling

This Tuesday all 280 of our Year 7 students were off timetable, in the hall and on a mission! They had to work to a brief: adapting, scripting, designing, building, performing, filming *and* pitching a pilot for a new children’s TV show based on a myth they have read.

Some focused on Anansi, some on Odin, some on Bastet, but all groups had to work collaboratively to get the story told in the time they had! It was really fantastic to witness the students working together. There was a great energy in the Adshead Hall, all day, and that’s a testament to the creative and cheery character of this lovely year group.
