Year 11 – GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition
A massive well done to our Year 11 Food group this week, and also Olivia Williamson in Year 12 who is doing Level 3 Food Science and Nutrition, on completing your practical assessment for your qualification.
I don’t say well done often enough and I am so proud of all the effort each and every pupil put into making their final dishes.
Pupils were required to cook 3 dishes in 3 hours which I’m sure you’ll agree is very challenging. Olivia was required to do the same but had to set up two covers (number of guests).
Parents were invited to join us at the end of the day to test the dishes produced.
Unfortunately, we are unable to show the photos as they are examination work – however some photos from last year are available and suffice to say this year’s pupils met the same high standards. The work featured is that of two of our current Year 12’s (Olivia and Sophie) who did GCSE Food last year.
Well done Year 11 and Olivia. Wishing you all a relaxing weekend – you deserve it.
