Year 9/10 Girls Hockey

The Year 9/10 girls team played Sale Grammar on Wednesday in a spectacular display of skills and teamwork. We knew some of our opposition were very strong but we underestimated our own level of skill and almost shocked ourselves!

The game began with some lovely wing play and lead to crosses into the D which in turn gave us a 3-0 advantage at half time. We spoke about passing more and communication which then saw our lead increase to 5-0 at full time. All the girls managed to play the ball around the pitch nicely with some lovely 1-2 passes and even Rachel the GK managed a couple of touches. Well done to all who played. WOM from them went to Lucy Gibson and from us we had a 3-way tie between Rachel, Mia and Elodie.
