MFL – Christmas in Mexico

This week, our pupils studying Spanish learnt about traditions at Christmas in Mexico. Our Foreign Language Assistant from Mexico, Carla, introduced a very informative presentation in Spanish about the festive customs in her home country. The pupils learnt about what happens in big Mexican cities, learnt new words such as “posadas” and “colación”, which are presents children receive when they smash a “piñata”. It was a very educative and warming experience.
