Bebras Challenge
In November, Computing students took part in the annual Bebras Challenge. They answer questions which focus on computational and logical thinking. Every participant received a certificate, with those in the top 25% in the school receiving a distinction and the top 50% receive a merit award. Students who were in the top 10% nationally are invited to another competition, the Oxford University Computing Challenge.
44 of our students qualified. The highest scorers in Key Stage Three were Rachel Miles (Year 9), Jimi Nicholls (Year 8) and Archie Taylor (Year 7). Pictured are Chloe Yuen, Jessica Kirkup, Anita Duggal, Jasmine Hallett, Priana Raheja-Paryani and Benjamin Price. Congratulations to all qualifiers; check your ClassCharts for details of the OUCC!
