Year 7 Netball

This week was the first round of Trafford Netball fixtures for Year 7. It was fantastic to be able to put out three very strong teams. The B and C played their fixtures on Tuesday, winning against AOM and Sale G C and just missing out on the win against Sale G B. Poppy Jackson had a fantastic round of fixtures and supported the B team throughout the court in every game which awarded her POTM. Ava and Olivia held up the defence with Olivia picking up countless interceptions and Phoebe and Zoe were our fab shooters. The C team had a great night and showed excellent enthusiasm even through the toughest games. POTM was Sophia. The A team played on Thursday against AOM, BTH and Sale G. The team got off to a fantastic start, beating Sale G and BTH. It was an excellent all-round team performance. The attack, mid court and defence linked and made it easy to bring the ball down the court to Nia and Jess in the shooting circle. The last game against AOM was an excellent watch, AOM scored the winning goal in the last seconds of the game, giving them the win. POTM Nia and Isla.
