Trafford Youth Cabinet

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of taking 9 of our Wellington pupils to the Trafford youth cabinet at the Life Centre in Sale. The day was filled with different workshops; fast fashion, SEND, sexism in schools, and careers. There was a guest speaker from the Shaw Trust talking to the young people about social activism. To end the day, the pupils came up with their own political party and pledged to the rest of the schools. Two of our pupils even signed up to join the Trafford youth cabinet! I really enjoyed watching all of you get involved with the different activities and listening to all of your opinions, you are a credit to Wellington School. Well done!
