Cloverlea Microclimate Investigation
On Tuesday this week, a number of Cloverlea Primary School’s Year 6 students came to work with the Geography department and a class of our Year 12 students. The Year 6’s were carrying out some geographical fieldwork around the school site investigating the different microclimates in order to decide the best location for a number of items, including picnic benches, a greenhouse and even a swimming pool. Our Year 12s were excellent, guiding the younger students around school and helping them and many of them took to this responsibility fantastically, acting as brilliant ambassadors for Wellington School! Well done to all of the Year 6s who worked hard throughout the day and we look forward to seeing many of you back in September!
